Our Annual Creative Competition invites students from across the UK to explore innovative ideas related to real estate and real assets through a variety of formats, including essays, films, artwork, and photography.
Winning entries are celebrated in a professionally published book distributed to 3,000 schools, leading employers, universities, and media outlets. They are also showcased online and exhibited at a high-profile launch event in London, giving students a platform to share their creativity and vision with a wide audience.

How can technology shape my neighbourhood? What role could nature play in my ideal neighbourhood? How would my neighbourhood bring people together?
This year, we invite young people from across the UK to bring their creativity to life by submitting an essay, film, artwork, or photography based on the prompt: “If I Could Build My Neighbourhood from Scratch…”
Prizes
Winning entries will be published in a professionally designed book that will be distributed to 3,000 schools, employers, universities, and media outlets. They will also be showcased online and exhibited at our Central London launch party in July 2025.
All entrants will be invited to this exciting launch event, where they can celebrate their success with family, friends, and teachers. At the event, young people will have the opportunity to meet members of The Academy of Real Assets: professionals from leading real estate and real assets firms, offering valuable insights and potential career opportunities.
Submissions
This competition is free and open to UK students and young people. Entries must be submitted by March 28th 2025. Young people submitting essays must provide details of a named sponsor, such as a teacher or youth representative.
