Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

What types of events does The Academy run?

We organise site visits, workshops, mock interview days, careers fairs, and presentations, all designed to give students meaningful insights into real estate and real assets careers.

What is the commitment for each event type?

  • Workshops: Typically a half-day (2.5–3 hours), hosted by the school with 20-30 students and 1-4 colleagues.
  • Mock Interview Days: Held in 1-hour sessions, up to 4-5 sessions per day, with 1-4 colleagues.
  • Site Visits: Usually a 3-hour event with 10-25 students and 2+ colleagues, hosted at your office or project asset.
  • Careers Fairs: These are half or full-day events with 100+ students, where members can interact with students about opportunities in the industry in a more informal setting.

Who attends these events?

Our events are aimed at students from schools, sports clubs, and youth organisations, many from underrepresented or disadvantaged backgrounds.

How can my organisation take part?

Members can host site visits, deliver presentations, run mock interviews, or provide speakers for careers fairs. If you’re interested, email Victoria at victoria@acadrealassets.com 

Do we need to prepare materials?

For most events, we’ll provide guidance on what’s needed. Our team can also support you with resources and advice on making your session engaging for students.

Where do the events take place?

Events can take place at your offices, on-site at a project, or virtually. We’ll work with you to find a format that fits.

Can I sign up for multiple events?

Yes! We encourage ongoing involvement and can help tailor opportunities to your availability and expertise.
